At peak production, Ormen Lange will deliver almost 20% of UK’s gas and establish Norway as the world’s second largest exporter of natural gas. Significant investments are planned in order to further develop the field, and Phase 2 of the project includes additional subsea templates, wells, field compression and compression pilot and plant modifications.<br /><br />We are now looking to recruit a Construction Manager who will be responsible for establishing and managing a team accountable for safely and effectively planning and executing construction activities across a diverse portfolio of modification projects at the onshore gas plant at Nyhamna. <br /><br /><strong>Dimensions</strong><br />The position reports to the Site Manager and manages all constrution activities at site on behalf of Shell and is single point accountable for HSE and delivery.<br />This will be done through the use of the Shell Integrated Services Contract and other key contractors at site.
